A few moments later

Nico closed the apartment door after making sure no one disturbed them. He led Celine to sit on the sofa.  

"Are you hungry? I don't have much food, but I can order something," he offered.  

Celine shook her head. "I'm not hungry. I just want us to talk."  

Nico sat down next to her. "Okay. We'll talk about whatever you want."  

Celine looked down at her hands, trying to form words. "I know our journey won't be easy. There are many things we need to fix, Nico. But I want us to try."  

Nico nodded. "I also realize that I've disappointed you a lot. I won't force you to fully trust me again, but I'll show you that I've changed."  

"And I'll learn to lower my ego," Celine added. "I don't want us to keep misunderstanding each other."  

Nico smiled a little, then took Celine's hand. "We'll be fine, Celine. As long as we're willing to work together."&nbs
