Chapter 19
Mr. Drake allowed me to attack first. I put forward the dagger to strike, but he just grabbed my hand and bent it behind my back. He kicked off the dagger, and it fell on the ground.
“Too slow,” he laughed and pushed me off.
“Really?” I said back, as I slowly got angered by his constant giggling at me.
Mr. Drake again retreated back. He pulled his two hands apart as if he wanted to hug. I looked at him, after taking a glance at the dagger tight in front of me. Before I could bend over to get a hold of my dagger, Mr. Drake grabbed my hand again. He pulled me away and grabbed my other hand as he nailed me to the wall.
“You’re too slow, Elisabeth,” he grinned. “Didn’t your dad teach you how to fight? I’m quite disappointed that you’re the daughter to such legendary parents.” Again, Mr. Drake mocked me. He pulled me off from the wall and pushed me again to the ground.
I fell and hit both my hands hard on the bare ground. I grunted, in pain.
