Layla’s POV

Dani noticed the hesitance on my face as he pulled the door open for me.

“It is alright,” he said as he put his hand out for me. Taking his hand, I stepped out of the car.

I still could not understand what Dylano was doing out here when I was supposed to be escaping. Surely, he was not here to turn me back to Logan. And he also could not be here to help me escape. He does not know that I am Logan’s hostage, so what is he doing here?
