Chapter 976

Maddie's POV

“Auntie Maddie, look!” he said, cupping his hands together and letting the water pour out like a waterfall.

I sighed, shaking my head with a small smile. 

“You’re impossible, you know that?”

After a few more minutes of playing, I finally managed to get him to sit still long enough for me to wash his hair and scrub him clean. 

Once he was rinsed off, I wrapped him in a soft towel and lifted him out of the tub.

“Alright, let’s get you dry,” I said, kneeling down and gently patting him with the towel before reaching for the lotion.

Little Jason wrinkled his nose. “I don’t like the smell of that one.”

I laughed. “Well, too bad, because it’s the one we’re using.”

He huffed dramatically but didn’t fight me as I rubbed the lotion onto his skin. After that, I helped him into his clothes…a comfy t-shirt and shorts.
