Maxine’s POV

I stayed outside for a while, staring at the stars and the moon before I decided to go in. Varis and Kris were in the living room drinking beer so I figured that Liam was in his room.

I went to the room that had been given to me and I took a bath, changing into fresh clothes. I hadn't been able to eat much at the party so, this was my moment.

I went to the kitchen and thought to make myself a quick meal. But, I looked at the men and realized they needed something to go with their beer. Maybe something spicy.

"Um, would you guys like me to make you something spicy? I found some chicken in the refrigerator." I said pointing back.

"Oh yeah I got that stocked in case Liam wanted to stay longer or have something cooked. It's fine." Varis explained.

"It's not too much trouble." I insisted.

Kris glanced at Varis and grinned. "Sure, thank you." He said on their behalf.
