Liam's POV

As we discussed, Kris was trying to make me see it as a simple thing to do.

“You are Alpha, and she respects you. Announcing her wouldn't change anything. She's still an omega and would always remind me of that. We are running out of time and we couldn't want the whole pack to know what's going on. You have proven your point. The elders know what you are capable of.”

I swallowed hard and hoped it was as simple and easy as Kris was saying it. I sighed, and uttered, “I hope I can do this.”
