Liam's POV

"So you're saying that she might have run away?" I asked. With a sigh, I rubbed the tiredness off my face. "Get me three wolves."

He quickly ran out of the room to do what I had instructed. I leaned back in my chair and linked my fingers together.

She had the guts to run off. Right after I had permitted her to become a stupid wife.

I was going to punish her the moment I found her. She would tell me where she got the idea from and the balls to carry it out. When I was done punishing her, she wouldn't be able to walk anywhere for a few days.

The three wolves walked into my office. They bowed when they saw me.

"You asked for us, Alpha Liam?" One of them said to me.

"Yes," I sat up and assessed them. They were capable wolves.

"Who are we looking for, Alpha?" The other asked.

"You're looking for a girl," I told them. "Her name is Maxine. And if you fail to find her or bring her back, I'll have your heads on
