Chapter 47. Working Together

As the words fell from her lips, she knew she had goofed. 

She remembered Keratin telling her that mating someone comes when it comes. In other words, it's the wolf that takes over, and not the human, because it instinctively knows when its mate is ready because of its strong, keen senses, so even if she said she was ready, Keratin's wolf might not mark her because it truly knew when she was.

She decided to do something about her earlier statement.

"I will not stand for this..." She wove her hand about helplessly. "Talking about me like I'm not here, it's just not on. Marking me is something of a private nature and not one to be talked about carelessly and recklessly."

She knew she was grasping at straws, but she knew she was on to something because Keratin had also told her marking a mate was a private affair and usually done when no one else was near. Sometimes while mating, the man would change into his wolf, and sink its teeth into a part of the body
