Chapter 9

After two weeks, I've integrated myself fairly well into this household. I have yet to have much contact with Leon. He is maintaining his distance from me in order to assist me in maintaining my cover. Not that I require his assistance. On my own, I'm making excellent progress.

The last time I ate was when I came. Even though I haven't started to feel hungry just yet, there's this persistent sensation in the back of my mind prompting me to eat something. To our good fortune, it is not powerful. I've been way too gluttonous as of late, drinking whenever I felt like it. This quest is forcing me to revert to some of my previous behaviors. Lacking food for several days or perhaps weeks at a time It provides the advantage I need to succeed. Whenever I sense that a difficult mission is approaching, I make sure to eat. At the moment, I am not facing any significant danger.

Oh, you've just jogged my memory. I very recently got to know Katty.
