Chapter 8

I carried out my diabolical plan and smiled to myself in my head. There is nothing more convincing than a new vampire who is still learning the ropes. I turned around and heard someone roar with laughter from behind me.

"I've never met such a bad vampire in my life, and I'm over a thousand years old." Cedric let out a chuckle. Boy, if only you knew what I knew.

Cedric gave me a wry grin before approaching me and saying, "Eventually, you'll get the hang of it." I got out of bed gently. Cedric led me to a restroom and instructed me to get a shower when we got there.

"If you don't want to die, don't take off that necklace," the voice said. Another one of your morbid whims, seeing as how you're already dead in all but name." He let out a chuckle.

His appearance had me spellbound.

Cedric said in a straightforward manner, "I'll leave some clothes outside the door for you," and then he shut the door.
