Chapter 37

I couldn't sleep all night because of what happened. When I looked at Jake, the man was still lying on his side on the bed and while he wasn't talking, I got even more nervous. I worried about what he might do to me, and I also worried about his health. 

What if I was the reason he died earlier? When I noticed the man moving, I immediately stood up to approach him.

 "Baby?" I called his name but he didn't answer. 

It just changed position and still didn't move me. I didn't want to bother him anymore but he had to get up and eat breakfast. It's nine o'clock in the morning but he hasn't eaten yet. I felt fear and trepidation as I approached it closely.

 I bent down so that he could hear my voice better. I slowly moved my hand to touch him but before I could do that, the man suddenly opened his eyes and looked at me evilly. 

"Get out of my sight!" This order was angry and because I was also obedient, I immediately retreated.
