Chapter 127
Rose’s POV
The Morning sun crept through the joined shelter of the dark wood of Ravenblood, tossing a light shade on the woodland.
I stirred in my small low mattress, it was not as big as the one I used to have but I felt comfortable sleeping on it.
My eyelids fluttered open to the shimmering light screening through the openings of the leaves.
As I blinked away the remnants of sleep, my gaze fell upon Mr. Anderson, his eyes were upon me for a fleeting moment before darting away. It felt in a type of way. A peculiar unease rested in my chest at his sudden change of attitude. There must be something, do they want to kill me? Did I do something wrong? I tried to talk to talk but he quickly stood up and left.
I wondered for a while and decided that I would ask him what I did wrong or maybe apologize for any wrong I might have caused unknowingly. I mean that’s the least I could do after sheltering me for the night.
