Chapter 23

Alpha Kanen’s POV

Outside the pack house, I stepped out of the Benz in rage. I had no idea what to think at all. On our way to this place, I had not heard, or seen anything that would have given any sign that something was wrong. Still, I didn’t lower my guard down as we moved to the pack doors. I had purposely made the driver stop where he did.

After 3 more steps, a couple of rogues in masks stepped out of the hiding. Their scents were oddly masked.

“Who sent you?” I snapped at once.

My hands shot forward and I caught the knife that had been flung directly at me.

“How dare you?” I thundered.

I turned the knife around and flung it hard, it hit the bastard to my left right in the middle of his forehead and he fell to the floor at once. The others moved as fast as I could and I simply jumped to the air and shifted to my wolf form. I came down tearing off the heads of one of them and spat him out.
