She nodded, her expression softening slightly. “I wouldn’t have it any other way. But I need you all to be on board with this. We have to work together.” She said, with her authoritative words.

Elise looked down at the ground, clearly torn. “I don’t like this, Rose. Even if you’re set on it, then we’ll do everything in my power to keep you safe. You give me no choice than to cease you,” I said to her, this time not in a pity voice but authority.

Joe nodded reluctantly, his eyes filled with worry. “I promise you will be safe Rose. We can’t lose you.” I said now she looks more angry.

Rose’s face hardened, though it didn’t quite reach her eyes. “I promise, Joe. We’ll get through this together.” I said to her knowing fully well that she doesn’t value her safety but peace.

Raph placed a hand on Rose’s shoulder, giving her a reassuring squeeze. “I am with you, Rose. Just say the word, and I will be ready.” Raph told her.
