As our conversation drifted from books and memories to more recent events.

The peaceful moment in the library had been welcoming, but there was a reason I had come to see Roderick today, beyond just catching up.

There was something I needed to talk about, something I had been turning over in my mind ever since Elise had told me I might be able to cure Alpha Kanen.

I know I had healed Kanen with my powers but the truth was that I was scared. Did I heal him for good?
