Alpha Kanen’s POV

Immediately I saw the ghost, my instincts told me that something was wrong, very wrong.

The ghost didn’t move, but its presence alone was enough to fill the entire cave with a deadly dark aura.

I could feel the tension among the others as they stood frozen, unsure of what to do.

And then, out of nowhere, the ghost spoke.

“You will not leave this place,” it said in a voice that seemed to echo from the depths of the cave. Its tone was low, cold, and unnatural, like the wind blowing through dead trees. “Not until you leave Rose and Elise behind.” the ghost concluded.

The words shocked me and I wondered why a ghost would need Rose and Elise.

I instinctively stepped in front of Rose and Elise, shielding them from the ghost’s gaze.
