Chapter 60

Rose’s POV

My health is already making a way back, as I feel so good already. I can now raise my head without feeling the splitting headaches I usually feel, and I’m ready to eat as I feel so much hunger.

“I’m so hungry now,” I tell the doctor, and he steps out to call for the royal chef to make me something to eat. I sit up at the edge of the bed, and ask the royal physician if I can get a book to read.

“Every book in here is medical related,” he says.

“I just need something to run my eyes through,” I say to him.

He gives me a book that has a skeletal figure sketched in front of it.

I open it, and glance through, thinking it would make me bored. However, I find myself distracted by the anatomical descriptions, and delving deeper, I see myself getting more interested in what I thought would be gibberish.
