POV: Denvereaux Thorne

“After running away from the other and not finishing the meeting, you are indeed a cunning man for coming here today.” Levi raised his left eyebrow as he crossed his legs and gave him a sarcastic look.

Denver just smirked at him – not bothered by the seriousness of his voice.

“Come on, it isn’t as if it is just for my sake.” He slightly shook his head – like he was amused at what his cousin was playing at right now.

“Did you tell her already?” Levi suddenly inquired.

Denver just nodded his head. He remembered how he hurt Shea physically. He clenched his jaw – just by remembering about it.

He despised what he had done. His inner beast was getting out of hand. He was trying not to succumb to it. He was successful these past few days, but he knew that something inside him was tearing him up already.
