POV: Shea Vestine-Thorne

“You must stay for the night.” Carrie suggested, the moment the salutary wolf left her mother’s house.

Her voice was laced with both worry and excitement. Her eyes were sparkling with joy for her, and a sweet smile was pasted on her lips.

She couldn’t blame her, though. Her condition was so delicate that she needed to be extra careful – especially since she was still in her first trimester. It is her most vulnerable moment, so they are still so worried about her.

However, her heart was fluttering with excitement because she wanted to tell Denver about her condition. If she could go home right at that moment, she would. She just wanted to be with him and celebrate her pregnancy.
