POV: Shea Vestine-Thorne

It’s been days since they got back with the pack. She was grateful that Denver was doing well… Well, at least for now. She just wanted to take it one day at a time. Besides, he was busy with his duties, but he always saw to it that he would be going home to her every night. She was content with that – trying not to overthink the possibility that Denver’s beast would take over again.

“Hey! Are you okay?” Carrie worriedly inquired as she ran towards her.

She was visiting her again in their house – no, it was more of wanting to ask her about her whereabouts for the past few days and why she hadn’t spent her birthday with them – when she found out that she was vomiting her heart out.
