Chapter 24. Present

POV: Shea Vestine-Thorne

She groaned as she felt the tickling in her cheeks. It stopped a bit but continued until it reached her neck. Her eyes instantly opened as she felt a hand holding her waist – a familiar touch that made her body burn.

“D-Denver…” She sensually called him in a whisper as she moaned in pleasure – at his hand kneading her mound.

His darker shade of gray eyes sparkled amidst the darkness… it mirrored his unadulterated desire.

“I smell you. I didn’t know you were here. Why didn’t you sleep in my room?” He softly inquired.

Her eyes immediately blurred with tears.

‘He’s back! He is finally back! My husband is back! My wish really came true!’

She wanted to yell out her happiness, but she remained speechless as sobs escaped from her mouth.

Denver stopped as he saw her teary-eyed expression. Worry immediately plastered his face as he wiped away her fallen tears.

“W-Why? Are you okay?” He asked – full of concern.
