Chapter 190. Father-Daughter Day

"Hey, princess! What took you so long?" My dad asked, his voice echoed up from the bottom of the stairs. He was already dressed and ready to go, while I had totally forgotten to grab my coat and shoes before heading out.

"Hold on, dad!" I dashed back to my closet to grab my pink boots and pink coat. "I'm sorry..."

Dad let out a quick chuckle as he made his way to the front door, telling me to follow him to the garage where the cars were parked, and I quickly complied.

I sprinted after him to his white sports car and hopped in, buzzing with excitement but still wondering what our plans were. "Dad, can you tell me where we're off to today?"

He started the engine and buckled up, which reminded me to do the same. "We're going to spend some quality time together and have some fun. Think of it as our special father-daughter day."

I settled into my seat with a grin, pulled out my phone, and shot a text to Faye to let her know I w
