Lilly’s POV
“Why the hell did you just hit me?” Sade hissed from the floor, clutching her cheek. Her eyes blazed with disbelief and humiliation. “Do you have any idea who I am?”
Alexandria looked down at her, unflinching. “You are nothing in my eyes,” she replied, her tone icy. “You’re not even worthy to be a crumb of sand under my shoe.”
A collective gasp rippled through the crowd, followed by a storm of whispers. The spectacle was unfolding before everyone, and no one dared to interrupt.
“How can you say that to me?!” Sade cried, staggering to her feet, wounded pride making her voice tremble. “I am your brother’s mate! I deserve your respect. We are meant to be sisters-in-law.”
Alexandria held herself with the composure of true royalty, not a single hair out of place. “You deserve nothing from me,” she said, her eyes narrowing. “If you were truly to be my sister-in-law, you’d know better than to humiliate a guest at an event like this. Respect
