Chapter 148. Jealousy

When we got back to the mansion it was night time and everyone had retired except the workers at the mansion. I bid Anthro y goodnight and then headed to my quarters. I stopped on the way to check on my mother and when I was sure she was alright I left. I needed to apologize to Lovette this night, for my behavior. It wasn’t appropriate.

I know she must have noticed that I wasn’t pleased to see her new visitor but it wasn’t her fault that he had come here. She wasn’t even aware that he would be coming.

When I got to my quarters I opened the door and realized she wasn’t here yet. Where could she be? All my anger from earlier in the day came back as I imagined she was with the man now.
