Chapter 67. Moving Past the Hurt

Emily's POV

I sat in my room, trying to find solace in a journal. How do I heal from this heartbreak and the pain he caused me? I leaned my head on the headrest and sighed in frustration. I was feeling both pain and disbelief. Did I truly deserve what happened to me? Was I that unlucky when it came to love? I had thought that my relationship with Steven was terrible, and I felt fooled and lied to, but this time it's different.
