That morning, I woke up feeling excited and nervous. I had no idea why, but I guessed I woke up on the right side of the bed today. I was hoping today would turn out well, unlike these past few weeks that had been nothing but hell. I was starting to forget everything that had happened between Berton and me, and it was a good thing, unlike the times I'd cry myself to sleep over and over again anytime I thought about it. It was a very hard thing to do, considering the life we've lived before now, the promises we had made to each other and the way things had suddenly shattered.
