Berton's POV
I drove through the roads and into the thoughts of our argument, and what she said was the only thing on my mind. What Sam said was still playing in my head.
He liked her all this time but never made an approach. So I was mistaken? I sighed, trying to just focus on the road instead of the heartbreaking and depressing memories of the break-up.
The winding roads and familiar sights usually brought me comfort, but today there was a heavy feeling in my chest. As I pulled into the driveway.
