Alpha Thor’s POV

I wasn’t doing anything serious for the rest of the day. I had finished with all the documents on my table in the morning and met with some of my pack leaders. I also called the jewelry supplier to send in some pieces for my mom. I was going to surprise her by stashing her little store in the castle; she would be so happy. She had started to leave her room often now and even went out one time to Kapa for tea with her friends. I was glad she was slowly returning to her normal life.

I got to my suite and changed into something simple. Then I headed to the fields behind the castle. Kane had asked me to join him for a run. I missed that, racing him across the fields to find out who was the better runner. Before I left, Dana had sent word for me to join her for lunch, but the last thing I needed right now was for someone to annoy me. It had been a peaceful day so far, and it had been a while since I enjoyed that peace.
