Yaya’s POV

Everything was in order. Guests had started arriving, all kinds of important personalities in the pack. The ball was particularly organized for the rich and elite in Blue Moon and beyond, and it was their kind that dominated the scene. The ball wasn’t just an event for socialization and fun. It was also an opportunity for young maidens to find their mate. I couldn’t count how many times I had witnessed a ball such as this where werewolves found their mates.

It was always a beautiful sight to behold, the excitement and joy on their faces to be able to find who the Moon Goddess had paired them with. It didn’t happen at every single ball, but it happened frequently. My girls weren’t left out. Last season, one of my most hardworking maids found her mate at this same event in this same room. She was lucky to be mated to the son of one of the pack leaders, Ian. It was a remarkable match. Although the Alpha of that time, Thor’s аather, Basit, didn’t quite like the ma
