Alpha Thor’s POV

I walked with long strides to the limo waiting for me outside the gate. Before I left the office, I met with Kane and Zed about the search for Giloed. All hands were on deck to discover him. I had also requested from all the packs I had an alliance with that information about his whereabouts be reported to me immediately. Giloed was a rogue, a very smart one at that. Despite being a rogue, he had so many lone wolves that worked for him. My only worry was that some packs had sworn allegiance to him, and they worked for him, too, in disguise. That would make it harder to catch him. But I was certain he would walk into my trap one day; I was certain.

After last night’s ball, Dana insisted that I go shopping with her today. She was distraught, feeling humiliated and belittled that I had walked out on her yesterday. Apparently, she was talking to me when I stormed out of the room in haste last night, and everyone looked at her in a funny way.
