Charlotte’s POV

My heart was in my mouth the whole time on our way to the Alpha’s office. Unintentionally, I began to have flashbacks of the time I had gone to Corie’s room to see him in the pottage. He had taken advantage of the fact that we were alone in his room. The scars from my experience that day were still visible on my skin. It got me wondering...what if Thor decides to...to take advantage of me too? Jade had already said it was possible he was calling me so I could please him.

I couldn’t restrain the tears that gathered in my eyes as we kept on walking. We got to his office, and the guard that had brought me knocked on the door softly.
