Chapter 3
Charlotte’s POV
“You stupid bitch!” I heard Corie growl loudly as I forced my shaking legs to fly out of the room. I had just gotten to the door when he grabbed my hair from the back and flung me to the bed at the center of the room.
“Arrrghhh...” I cried out in pain as my ankle collided with something hard. I couldn’t tell what. I turned to look at Corie. He was breathing heavily, he had half-turned already, and this time, I couldn’t stop myself from looking at his dangling penis that had tripled in size and length as a result of his shifting to his wolf form.
“I’m gonna fuck you till you’re almost dead, then I’m gonna kill you...” His voice echoed throughout the entire room as he advanced toward me menacingly, saliva dripping from the sides of his fangs. He was a horrendous sight, the biggest wolf form I had ever seen, and he had only half-turned. Nala was growling something inside of me, but I was too focused on the fear that threatened to drown me, fear of the sight before me.
“Moon Goddess...please...please.....” I cried out as I backed away, naked, from Corie.
“Dad!”
Corie turned abruptly at the sound of his daughter’s voice. Faith and Nadia were standing at the doorway, both wide-eyed and shaking from what was happening.
“Get out of here now!!” Corie backed at them. Nadia fled immediately, screaming as she ran out of the house. I reached for the bedsheets and covered myself as much as I could. Then I got up and backed away to the other side of the room as much as possible.
“Dad, what are you doing?” Faith wailed, tears coursing down her cheeks. She had stayed back. Instead of running away, she walked into the room and toward her father.
“I said get out!” He barked again, louder this time. I was scared to death for Faith and myself.
“No! No! I won’t let you do this!” Faith screamed and threw something in her father’s face. It was liquid. Wolfsbane.
Corie howled in pain and stomped backward. Faith also hissed in pain and stepped back as well. Some of the wolfsbanes had splashed on her arm when she flung it at Corie. The massive mirror on the side of the wall came crashing down because Corie was fighting to clean her eyes.
“Let’s go, Lotty!” Faith screamed at me, and I ran. We both ran.
We were leaving the house. I stopped at my bedroom and picked up my brown sack bag. That was all I needed because my mother’s necklace was there.
The house started to shake, and a deafening howl came from the stairs. Corie was coming.
“Let’s go now!” Faith screamed again as we ran faster. “Where’s Nadia? Nadia!”
“I’m not leaving!” We spun around to see Nadia clinging to one of the pillars in the house to save her from falling. “We can’t leave Dad alone, Faith!” Nadia was crying. She was scared just as much as we were and confused.
Another loud howl came from the stairs. He was almost here.
Faith spun around.
“Go.” She looked at me and nudged me toward the exit.
Fresh tears began to form in my eyes. “I can’t leave you...”
“We have no choice! I need to hold him off while you run away, or he’ll catch up with you. Don’t worry, Mother’s gonna be here soon, and we’ll be fine. He won’t hurt Nadia or me. But you’ve got to go.”
The tears flowed down my face as I took one last look at her and ran out. I didn’t look back. I kept running. I had gotten out of the yard and into the woods just in front of the house, and that was when I heard another howl.
When Faith told me Corie wouldn’t hurt her or her sister, I knew she was lying.
We both knew she was lying. I sobbed harder as I kept running.
