Elara’s POV

We left Blackwood Pack after saying our goodbyes to everyone, even Mira started crying. I was going to miss them too but we’ll be gone for only a week.

Kieran drove us out onto a quiet road with the forest stretched out on both sides of the road, their leaves were thick and green. I leaned against the window, watching the forest. It looked different today. It was calmer and not as intimidating as the first day he brought me here.

Kieran noticed how confused I looked, “What’s the matter?” he asked in that deep voice that messed with my head at times.
