Elara’s POV
“I remember everything that happened that night,” I told him.
Kieran didn’t hesitate. He pulled me into his chest, wrapping his arms around me like a shield. The warmth that came from him, and the weight of his embrace, made me feel so safe.
“You’re alright now, Moya,” he murmured into my hair, his voice low. “Do you want to talk about it now?”
I hesitated for a second.
“When you’re ready to talk about it, we will. I’m just glad you got back your memories and your voice. Now I can find the bastard that did this to you and make him pay,” he growled.
I nodded, pressing my face into his shoulder. The tremble in my hands eased just slightly. I don’t know what I would do or react if I ever get to see him again.
