“CADEN! F*CKING STOP THE CAR!”

I was already in a panic after he kicked the accelerator. “Are you f*cking trying to kill us both?!”

“Then tell me what you are doing in that place dressed like that!”

I glared at him and hissed, “I did everything you wanted me to do, Caden! I stayed in your f*cking house; I gave you an heir; and now I am not allowed to do the things that I want?!”

The car went to a sudden halt, and I was almost thrown against the dashboard in front of me. Good thing I had the seatbelt on; otherwise, I might have broken my skull to pieces.

“I told you before that you are not a prisoner in my home, Giselle. But going out to a party like that?!” He disappointedly snarled at me, “You are my fiancee! You should have told me you were going to that place, so I could have escorted you!”
