“I am really sorry. I always make you feel worried.”

“How bad is it?” I asked him in a whisper while peeling apples for him.

“Three ribs on the right, two on the left, a right collarbone, and then a left arm and a shattered hip,” he answered casually, as if those injuries were just a small thing to deal with. “Don’t worry. I heal twice as fast as a normal werewolf, Giselle. There is nothing too serious about it. I will be fine. The doctor just has to make sure that the bones will align well and regenerate properly.”
