Chapter 28
I took the contents in a single sip. In fact, it looked like a tea with human spices. For a moment, I even wanted to laugh and discredit the elder’s faith; however, I felt my mind fog up. I felt that presence taking over my body even more forcefully. I realized I wasn’t breathing anymore. I noticed that my feet barely touched the ground. My body should have been still, staring at the fire as the elder kept moving around, but my soul didn’t seem to be there.
I had my first supernatural experience. I didn’t see myself outside of my body, but as the old man’s shed turned into dust and became a large lake, and my body became tall and muscular, a beautiful woman hovered in front of me. I understood that my soul had ended up on that bridge, in that thing that seemed to always pull me back or wake me up to a sixth sense. I saw myself inside Randall, sharing his body.
