Chapter 4
Josephine’s POV
Elle and I stepped out of room A-26G like two princesses. She was the fabulous extroverted princess, and I was the shy, reserved one. Everyone turned to stare at the hallway as we passed through, and Elle went on elegantly, ignoring the eyes boring into her. I admired her unfazed attitude.
Unfortunately, I could not be as unbothered as she was, especially now that I was aware that there were too many people looking at me all at once. One thing was sure. Elle and I had just climbed higher on the social ladder of Ruswells College.
The hall where the party was held was somewhere close to the chapel. It was a massive building standing on about five hundred acres of land. I knew that much because Elle was giving me all the prep talk as we sauntered down the path that led to the talk. To be honest, I lost her most of the time. I was more focused on trying to walk with the heels that Elle had allowed me to borrow.
