Malachi’s POV

“Good morning sir” Emma says as she saunters into the office.

“Good afternoon Emma” I flash her a little smile, “how was your night?”

She freezes, a look of confusion appearing on her face.

I chortle a little, I know it’s surprising to her and to everyone else that I actually smiled this morning since I came to the office. But the news of Odette being pregnant has made me so happy that I don’t know any other feeling than happiness. When she was pregnant with Zachary’s child, I can’t lie I was jealous but I was still willing to accept the child because it also belonged to Odette but now, she was carrying my child. Mine, not Zachary’s but mine. I don’t think there is anything else that would make me more happy than this. The coming days are sure to be blissful and I am all for it.
