Odette’s POV

My hands are still trembling from before and the only thing I want now is to hug my husband and tell him how much I love him. Right now there is not Breyer or Zachary, it’s just me and Malachi, us, our world.

I look at the time again and it’s already been fifteen minutes since I called him, he should be pulling up by now. Like the moon goddess is on my side, I hear the gates open and his car drives in. Excitement surges through my entire body as I manage to hold my smile. With one final look at the mirror, I pick up the bouquet of flowers that’s on the table beside me before heading over to the door.

The door opens up and his familiar scent fills my nose before he appears looking dapper in his brown suit and his hair slicked back to perfection.

His face immediately breaks into a smile as his eyes travel over me.

“Someone is looking hot” Malachi says, “what’s the occasion baby?”
