Malachi’s POV

When she saw me smoking, I actually wanted to go after her but I stopped myself. She has never seen me smoke before and that was a part of me I wanted to keep away from her but she found out. She was calling me earlier and I purposely didn’t pick her calls. I was upset about a lot of things and I couldn’t bring myself to talk to her because I didn’t want her to notice anything.

After I left the hospital, I went back to the office but I didn’t go into my office. The fact that Zachary will continue to bother us even after what I did to him today is more annoying than anything. I want to kill him, I want to erase his memory from her life. He had her before me, they had something between them. They have broken up but I am still upset about that fact. I want her to give me the permission to end him, to finally rid this world of someone like him. The more I thought about it, the more upset I got.
