Michelle’s POV

“Here you go ma’am” Maria says as she hands me the documents, “and Mr. Nicholas is waiting for you in the conference room, everything is ready as per your instructions”

“Good, get the car ready” I tell her, “I will speak with him and we will move”

“Okay ma’am”

Tucking the paper she has just given me into my bag, I make my way to the conference room and there Nicholas is standing next to the window, his gaze on the busy road ahead.

“I don’t think this is the right place for you to be, Mr. Woodsborn” I tell him the moment I drop my bag on the glass table.

He turns his attention to me and an expressionless look is hovering over his face, a look I am sure Enzo is responsible for.

“You look absolutely stunning in this outfit, Michelle” he says out loud, his voice making me cringe, “but I am not here to admire you. You and Enzo are lucky that Lucy is recovering fast or I swear I would have destroyed the two of you”
