Chapter 11
Kelvin’s POV
I drove into the garage and sat in the car long after I rolled to a stop. It was snowing heavily, and I stretched back in my car and enjoyed the warmth of the heater some more.
It had been two weeks since Grace joined the household as a babysitter, and every day, I was fighting my growing attraction to her.
She was a natural. The kids were caught under her spell almost immediately, and I always came home to their happy screams and friendly banter. To top it off, she was a great cook, and Daisy was raving about becoming a chef once she grew up. It was the Grace effect, and it affected everyone in the house, myself included.
Teddy was stuck to her side, wagging his tail happily while she fed him treats from the kitchen. The boys were eager to please her and happily cleaned up their room every morning—a feat I hadn’t been able to accomplish as their father. Kira was bugging me to marry her and get a suitable replacement for the kids.
