Chapter 14
Kelvin’s POV
I took one last look at the rearview mirror, satisfied the children were tucked safely into their car seats. It was starting to snow again, and I hoped we would make it back home in time before Kelvin came home.
I had texted him to inform him the kids and I were going to my mom’s, and he had given his consent. He had also asked me to drive the SUV rather than take a taxi. I had sold my car after I left my last job, and getting behind the steering wheel left me feeling nostalgic over the events of the past weeks.
I had gone from working in Los Angeles’ biggest advertising firm to being a babysitter. I had also moved from disliking my arrogant boss to falling in love with him and his kids.
