Chapter 16
Kelvin’s POV
I watched the woman standing before me, and a bittersweet feeling coursed through my body. Vivian looked stunning, arguably the best dressed tonight, but I could see through her perfect makeup.
“You need to leave here now,” I ordered, smiling at the guests who were starting to worry.
She drew herself to full height and rolled her eyes dramatically. “You sound like a sore loser. They are my children, too.”
Her casual words drove a spear of pain through my heart.
“Your children,” I fumed. “How did you get in here?”
She touched her perfectly laid face and purred like a cat. “I’m his plus one.”
She pointed to a guy in a tuxedo, watching the scene helplessly. Vivian must have manipulated him to get a pass into my home. Watching her standing shamelessly before me made me want to throw up.
“We need to talk right now,” I ordered and marched off in the direction of the bathroom, hoping she would follow me.
