I watched as Scarlett slept in my arms. She had fallen asleep halfway into the movie and now, the movie credits were rolling out. I gently peeled her off my body and placed her on the bed beside me before quietly climbing out of the bed and picking the packets of snacks that littered her bed. After tossing it into the bin, I walked back to her bed, tore out a sticky note laying on her bedside table. After writing on it, I placed it on the table and planted a kiss on her cheek before slipping out of the house.
