Chapter 11. Bad News
Was it for real? This man again? My eyes wanted to close. But I couldn't, I was too shocked. The person I least expected, the one I despise the most, is now in front of me.
God! No. He's here. One inch away from where I stand.
"Uncle … Vincent?" I asked, astonished. It felt unbelievable that I would meet the man who had destroyed my life once again, in this city, where he shouldn't be.
Oh God! Was I not running far enough? Why did you have to bring back this nightmare in front of me?
My legs suddenly felt weak as if they had no bones. If Uncle Vincent didn't support my weight with his muscular, strong arms, I would have collapsed to the floor.
