Chapter 37. The Raid

Matthew stepped closer and crouched with one knee on the floor, staring at her from a distance. Sarah gulped nervously, about to sit up, but Matthew's hand gripped her.

"Do you really think that way?" he asked, staring into Sarah's eyes.

Sarah didn't answer and remained silent because she knew her reaction might be too much.

“Answer me, do you really think that way? You think I have that kind of romantic feelings for Amanda?” Matthew asked with questioning eyes.

"Change of plans!" suddenly, Grace appeared. Matthew rushed to his feet. On the sofa, Sarah breathed a sigh of relief because she managed to avoid Matthew's question.

"What is it?" Matthew asked as he looked at Grace, who was typing on her phone screen.

"We have to do it now. Edward and Rudolph are in that location," she answered without looking up.
