Chapter 25. Chased by A Werewolf

Aria watched Lucien limp down the trail with a worried expression on her face.

She stood at the doorway for a while longer, even after she could no longer see him. Without him being close to her, she somehow felt empty and lonely.

A fact which shocked her because she had spent pretty much all her life being lonely, and she had never thought of it as abnormal up until this moment.

A soft smile lingered on her lips as she rested her back on the doorway.

After a while, she turned back, shut the door behind her, then crossed into the bedroom to grab her herbal bag. She tied it around her shoulders, picked up her cloak and covered herself.

It was the middle of winter, and she needed to keep herself warm.

She was packed and ready. With a smile on the corner of her lips, she towards the door of the cottage.

There was a spring in her steps as she walked, her cheeks were rosy, and she walked with her head held high.

She stopped at the doorway.
