Chantal’s POV

I hadn’t looked for the picture and let it be. I just thought that maybe he had placed it somewhere else or hidden it. So if he was avoiding this topic frequently, I shouldn’t get engaged and let him explain when he was ready or comfortable enough.

But I couldn’t contain my conscience anymore; my system was consuming me too much. It was good that I could still sleep soundly at night.

I lightly tapped my cheeks and started arranging the things I needed to fix since it would be night, and there would be another meeting about the outing that would happen next week.
